Our goal is to employ historically underrepresented populations in our workforce, and to actively recruit from historically underrepresented groups and low-income program participants by:

  • Using advertising, promotional programs, and media, oriented towards various communities in our area

  • Conducting, as needed, special visits to such target groups to directly communicate with potential job applicants

  • Developing internships for program participants to prepare them for full-time employment

  • Evaluating position requirements to reduce barriers for candidate consideration

  • Actively working to mitigate bias in screening and selection practices
