Tiffiny Hager Joins Home Forward Board

“I have personally realized the value of Home Forward’s programs and know the benefit of collaborations that involve housing, education, and other services,” Hager said.  As a young single mother, Hager participated in the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) program.  The support enabled her to get her degree from Portland State University and become financially independent.  “I am dedicated to assuring equitable and effective services for the economic development of others,” she said.

Board chair David Widmark said Hager’s life and career experiences would be invaluable to the agency, “Tiffiny knows first-hand what it takes for individuals to move forward if they are struggling economically.  She also understands how a collaborative approach between different service providers can be a very powerful way to help people,” he said.

Her community development background also includes establishing an early childhood development program in Honduras after she earned her master’s in International Relations from Alliant International University.
